Cardboard Cottage.

This simple looking cottage is based on Bruce Hirst's designs for a cottage, using his wooden plank mold 220.
I used a 2 litre orange juice carton for my building. Note on some of the precut pictures how I'd measured the incorrect hight. Luckily I realised before I started cutting it out.
Unfortunately I didn't get any photos when I glued the casts to the carton.
I have read that coconut fibres make very good thatching, and I was luckily enough to find some, in a pet shop (aparently it's used as nesting material). It was extremely tricky to apply, and in some of these pictures, you can see that the glue isn't quite dry.
